The Mail Cache will be closed Monday, February 16th for Presidents' Day, a Federal Holiday. We will resume normal hours at 9am on February 17th.

Below is the current agreement of company policies all people and entities must adhere to in order to receive mail at The Mail Cache (also known as TMC, Inc). By continuing service with The Mail Cache, all people and entities agree to the policies listed below. Failure to follow this agreement can result in the immediate closure of the mailbox, returning of all mail, and no refunds on already paid services.
There are no refunds or exchanges on any mailbox services, except for Postage Deposit balances of $2.00 or more.
Customers are required to follow all staff instructions or procedures posted on or around the building. Customers agree to act in a courteous manner to other patrons and staff. Verbal and/or physical attacks, as well as disregard for company policies will not be tolerated. Failure to comply directly violates The Mail Cache Mailbox Rental Agreement and can result in mailboxes being closed without refund.
The Mail Cache reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

To open a mailbox and receive mail at The Mail Cache, all customers over the age of 18 must fill out a USPS Postal Form 1583, sign The Mail Cache Mailbox Rental Agreement and present 2 forms of proper identification per USPS regulations.
Failure to have a valid USPS Postal Form 1583 on file will result in that person’s mail being refused and returned to the sender.
The basic mailbox is $25 a month or $250 a year. This size box allows two last names/business names and can receive up to 25 packages per month.
The medium mailbox is $35 a month or $350 a year. This size box allows five last names/business names and can receive up to 35 packages per month.
The large mailbox is $55 a month or $550 a year. This size box allows ten last names/business names and can receive up to 55 packages per month.
There is a one opening fee of $15. Included in this opening fee is access to two physical mailbox keys and a digital key to access the mailbox via the front counter or drive thru window.
Digital keys can be printed for a $2 fee. They can be printed codes and laminated for a $5 fee.
The Mail Cache is not responsible if a non authorized person uses the digital key to pick up mail without the mailbox holder's approval.
For a $5.00 fee, digital keys can be reset and regenerated if stolen or tampered with.
Additional physical keys can be purchased for $10 by customers at the front counter. The process takes about 1 week to complete.
Mailbox locks can be changed for a $20 fee. The process takes about 1 week to complete.
No keys cut outside The Mail Cache can be used on our locks. Doing so may result in the lock being broken and boxholders being liable for the repair costs.
Any mailbox that is overdue by five days or more will be blocked and mail will not be distributed until payment-in-full has been received.
All mailboxes that are overdue by five days or more will incur a $2 per week late fee. The first late fee will be levied on the 5th day of coming due. The second late fee will be levied on the 7th day of being due, and all future late fees will be levied every 7 days after the previous late fee.
All costs and fees are subject to change at The Mail Cache’s discretion
All customers with mailboxes in good standing may call The Mail Cache during normal business hours to inquire what mail is in their box.
One email address per person can be registered to receive notices about mailbox services and package arrivals.
The primary boxholder only has access to setting up an online customer login account. To activate this account, you must first contact The Mail Cache to have an activation email sent to to set up the online user account.
All customers picking up their mail in-store must use their physical key or digital key, or they will incur a $2 keyless fee for mail pickup. Only customers who have signed a USPS Postal Form 1583 may pick up the mail over the counter without a key, or The Mail Cache must have an email from the boxholder authorizing The Mail Cache to give out mail to an authorized third party.
Failure to pay any fees will result in an adjustment to the mailboxes due date to offset the unpaid fee.
All mailboxes that exceed their allotted amount of packages per month will pay a $10 fee for the next 10 packages.
All packages weighing over 70 pounds or sizing over 108 inches (length + girth) will incur a $10 oversize fee.
To remove a name from a mailbox, either the name holder or primary boxholder must email The Mail Cache to remove the name from the account.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their correct address and mailbox number is on all incoming mail. Failure to do so can result in a delivery delay or in the mail being returned to the sender.
Customers may put a credit card on file with The Mail Cache to charge for mailbox services, either automatically or on a singular basis. Any credit cards set-up for automatic payment will be charged the day service comes due, unless that day falls on a day The Mail Cache is closed. In that instance, credit cards will be charged the business day before the closure date.
Automatic credit card charges for mailboxes will continue to be charged until the customer has notified The Mail Cache via email or customer online portal to change their credit card preferences.
It is the responsibility of the box holder to alert The Mail Cache via email or in person when they are ready to terminate service and close their mailbox.
Customers may request to have their mailbox closed and all first class mail only forwarded away to one address for six months following the closure of the mailbox. This service is a flat fee of $100 and must be paid before the box has gone overdue. Any non first class mail, including packages, will be returned to the sender. After the 6 month period is complete, all mail that comes in after that point will be returned to the sender.
Once a mailbox has been closed, all mail that comes in afterwards will immediately be returned to the sender, unless the boxholder has paid for the service mentioned in section 18/1.
If never notified, The Mail Cache will keep mailboxes open for six months after they have come due. All mailboxes that are overdue by six months or more will be closed in poor standing and all mail will be returned to the sender.
Customers wanting to reopen a mailbox after having a mailbox that was closed in poor standing will be subject to a $115 reopen fee. Not all customers closed in poor standing will be allowed to reopen a mailbox at The Mail Cache.
The Post Office does not allow Postal Change of Address Forms to be submitted when forwarding mail away from The Mail Cache to a new location. Mailbox holders must contact their correspondents directly to notify them of their new addresses.
The physical mail forwarding service is $4 per forward plus the cost of postage.
If a credit card is on file, it will be charged for all fees before the mail is physically or digitally forwarded. Customers not wanting to put a credit card on file may deposit money into their account to use to pay for the forwarding costs.
Any customer depositing money on account with a credit card will incur a 3% credit card fee deducted from the amount they are depositing.
All fees and postage must be paid in full before a forwarding request will be completed.
Customers must use the online Mail Forwarding Request Form (prefered method found at www.mailcache.com), the customer portal, or email sales@mailcache.com, to submit forwarding requests.
Customers who cannot submit the form online or email may call to request their mail be forwarded. The Mail Cache is not responsible for any mis-forwarded mail from phone orders, or from incorrect information provided via digital requests.
Customers must contact The Mail Cache by 1:00 pm (AKDT) Monday-Friday to have the mail sent out the same day. Otherwise, mail will be forwarded the following business day. All requests received on the weekends will not be forwarded until the following Monday.
Customers can request to have their mail opened and scanned to them for a fee of $10 for the first 100 pages scanned, and an additional $5 for the next 50 pages. All customers wanting to use the digital mail forwarding must first agree to and sign/notarize the Limited Power of Attorney to Open and Scan Mail.
